Before a diaper change
Unfold a pad on a suitable changing surface, with the absorbent side facing up and the patterned backing underneath. Check that the pad covers the area you need; the pad is not a replacement for a changing table or its safety features.
After use, fold the pad and dispose of it appropriately. Keep spare pads with your diapers and wipes so they are easy to reach.
