Vesta Baby SEO — Privacy and Google Data Use
This notice covers the Vesta Baby SEO reporting tool, separately from shopping on vestababy.com.
Data accessed and purpose
When authorized by the account owner, the tool reads Google Analytics account and property identifiers, web-stream configuration and aggregate reporting data, including sessions, purchases and revenue. It also reads Search Console property permissions and search performance data, such as queries, pages, countries, devices, clicks, impressions and positions. The data is used to check measurement configuration, assess SEO performance and prepare reports for the store owner.
Storage and access
The local connection helper stores its OAuth client credentials and refresh token in a private local file with owner-only permissions and exclusion from version control. Short-lived access tokens remain in process memory. Authorized reports and selected property identifiers may be saved in the project for later analysis. Google passwords are not collected by the tool.
The store owner and authorized operators may review report results in their working tools, including Codex. If report data is supplied to an assistant or another processing service, that service processes the submitted content under the owner's account settings and its applicable terms. Credentials must not be included in reports or shared in chat.
Use restrictions
Google data is used for the reporting functions described here, not sold or used for personalized advertising. Vesta Baby SEO's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Retention and revocation
Saved local reports remain until the owner removes them. The owner can revoke the connection in Google Account permissions and remove the local credential file. Revoking Google access does not automatically delete previously saved reports or their backups; these must be removed separately from the locations where they were saved.
